Large enough to fit a toddler-sized mattress and her favorite stuffed toys. It's safe, too - has a double-zipper, so it's easy for the child to open from inside. Plenty of airflow: the light pink "cap" on the dome's top is removable. Very easy to put together, therefore, you can take this with you anywhere. My daughter is "tickled pink", loves the purple floor, and is thrilled to have her own play and nighttime sleep space, just like her twin brother - I bought the "Cars" -themed dome tent for him last week, and he loves it, as well!
