Foam Town USA - Foam Sweet Home Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my three kids: a girl (6), a boy (3) and a baby girl (9 months). We received it over a week ago, and it's still the number one toy in our house. It took around 20 minutes to set up the first time with two adults and two wee "helpers."I'm sure it will take even less time next time we set it up, now that we're familiar with all the parts and where they go.

I love this product because it provides a medium for creative, interactive play, especially between my older kids. They play in it for hours on end, constantly imagining different scenarios.

The little peripherals (flowers, chimney, awnings, etc.) get thrown around a lot, but it's not hard to gather them in when it's cleanup time.

The baby loves this house, too, and loves to practice her standing and chewing on the walls. The circle punch-outs in the centers of the flowers are a bit of a choking hazard, so I clear those out when she's around.I also try to keep her from chewing on one place for too long, as she could potentially chew a piece off (although she hasn't yet because it's very sturdy foam).

The house is quite durable for a foam product. Both my kids have tried to climb on top of it, and although it buckled a bit and the pieces popped out of place, it's still standing and none the worse for the wear.

Once we've had our fill, I'll collapse it back down (it came with a nifty storage case), and plan to store it under the baby's crib until it's been away long enough to be fun again.

One last note- it does NOT stink.I was so worried it would have a horrible plastic smell that you sometimes get with foam products, but definitely no observable odor!

Big Chief Tepee Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)While the Teepee is adorable and large enough for my two grandchildren ages 3 and 5 to play in, or one adult and one child, we are very unhappy that the teepee bottom rippedwhile putting it together. The tension poles are sturdy enough and easy to assemble, but the base is too large for the teepee causing it to rip. There are two velcro fastners at the front on the floor of the teepee which should attach to the base, but won't.

(More customer reviews)Thomas the Tank Hideaway

I would not recommend this at all. The bars that you have to insert poke through the paper like fabric. I bought this for my grandson that is 4 for Christmas. Yes he is a boy and energetic but for the price on this it should have been made better. Don't buy!!!

Playhut Playhut Dora The Explorer Le Hideaway Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This tent thrilled my daughter when she was 2.Now she is nearly four and it still exists. That's about all you can say for it.In addition to other parents' complaints about it not being roomy enough and not affording any space for a small child to lay down in, I'd like to say that this tent 1) does not fold back into it's convenient-looking circular storage size ever again--when you remove it from the package and set it up, say goodbye to the promised small-sized storage AND 2)the fabric is itchy, chintzy, cheap, stuffy and hot, sheds white fiber matts, and rips terribly. My little girl stumbled through the doorway and ripped holes there, and though that could be pardonable, there are holes everywhere in this thing and I hate the sight of it.I would certainly never buy it had I known.Beyond that, I hate that she wants me to get in it with her.Not only is there no room, but no adult can continue to survive on the limited air and stuffy conditions. Now imagine, when you're not in there, how breathable and comfortable is it really. My child had more fun making castles and cottages out of large IKEA boxes with me; after a few weeks we recycled them.Cheap and much more creative fun.

Playhut Dora Mega House Review

(More customer reviews)This tent is VERY NICE!! Dont expect it to Fold down Easily though!!! There was four of us trying!!! But that doenst make the FUN tent any less FUN!!! The only flaw I really see besides not folding down is the Door does NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO CLOSING TIGHTLY!!! I have just encouraged my children to not velcro it togather, because I am afraid the velcro will eventually rip loose.
BUT Still THIS TENT IS FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playhut Dora the Explorer Greenhouse Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This tent is sturdy (my girls have torn it down and jumped on it) and it is easy to fold back up and put into the case.I thought it was going to be bigger, but I should have known it was small by the price. It fits 2 toddlers and that is about it. The girls play with it a fair amount but they were not overly thrilled with the tent.Bottom line...for the price, amount of use it gets, construction, etc...I am pleased with my purchase.
